Attended Taipei American School, Phillips Academy Andover, Peabody Conservatory in violin and opera, pre-med at Johns Hopkins University, and served as fellow for the Vice President of the United States. Ms. Hsieh was ranked #1 in 2013 Electronic Music Charts, serves as a Special Olympics Ambassador, and is a 25-year UNICEF volunteer.

Served Arcadia Unified School District for 10 years as Director of Shining Stars Program at Holly Avenue Elementary School, and as teaching assistant at Highland Oaks Elementary School and Northrop Elementary School. Manages outreach to Mexican and Hispanic partners, military and veteran groups, senior citizen centers, Arcadia Library, Arcadia Community Center, Right Start After-School Care and other community partners.
