The 2019 Arcadia Performing Arts Foundation 6th Annual Arts Excellence Prize is awarded to graduating Arcadia High School seniors who have demonstrated leadership in the performing arts. Four Arcadia graduating seniors are awarded $1,000 each for excellence in visual arts, dance, music, and theatre. One senior is awarded $1,000 for excellence in writing, film, or communications made possible by Katy Hsieh Foundation. Two finalists receive $500 sponsored by Deutsche Bank.

Since 2012, four prizes of $500 each were awarded to students in dance, music, and theatre. Recipients have matriculated at MIT, Cornell, UC Berkeley, University of Southern California, and other universities in diverse areas of studies.


In 2017, Lily Liu's Presidents Circle pledge increased prizes to $1,000 each. In 2018, a fifth prize was added through a grant from the Katy Hsieh Foundation.
