All-4-One Lit up the Arcadia Performing Arts Center with Sold Out Show

On Saturday, September 20, the Arcadia Performing Arts Center was filled with musical memories of the 90s as All-4-One took the stage for a sold-out concert that had the entire audience on their feet.

The evening began with a Gala Dinner hosted by the Arcadia Performing Arts Foundation, where guests were treated to an unforgettable surprise. The artists themselves made a special appearance before the show. In an intimate moment of reflection, All-4-One shared how instrumental arts education, especially school band and music programs, shaped their careers and inspired their lifelong love of performance.

Jamie Jones shared how he fondly recalled participating in Arcadia’s Festival of Bands as a high school marching band member and noted that he still keeps in touch with his band director to this day. That early mentorship, he said, played a pivotal role in shaping his musical journey and career.

They also took time to personally thank Arcadia’s music directors in attendance, posing for photos and highlighting the lasting impact of arts education. Afterward, they stayed to cheer on Arcadia High’s theater students during their performance and continued connecting with guests, graciously snapping photos and sharing in the celebration.

It was a beautiful night that affirmed the Foundation’s dedication of bringing community together through the arts.

By the time the concert began, the energy was electric. From timeless ballads to dance-floor anthems, All-4-One delivered a powerhouse performance that had the crowd singing, cheering, and dancing.

Stay tuned for more unforgettable evenings with the Arcadia Performing Arts Foundation. Thank you to everyone who helped make this one so special.

All-4-One Live at Arcadia Performing Arts Center
September 21, 2025
By: Melissa Huang

After our choir's dress rehearsal for next week's annual concert, a few friends, Michael and I headed over to the Arcadia Performing Arts Center to catch the All-4-One concert, and what an unforgettable night it turned out to be.
The venue was completely packed with nearly 1,200 fans filling every seat. It’s clear that All-4-One’s legacy continues to resonate with audiences, even more than three decades after their debut in 1993.
What made the evening extra special was knowing that the original four members—Jamie Jones, Delious Kennedy, Alfred Nevarez, and Tony Borowiak—are still performing together. Their brotherhood and tight harmony are truly the heart of the group, and their voices blend together as beautifully as ever. Their timeless R&B sound, full of heartfelt emotion and smooth vocal arrangements, reminded us all why they became icons in the first place.
Throughout the concert, they performed many of their greatest hits. During the more upbeat songs, they invited the audience to stand, dance, and sing along—instantly turning the entire auditorium into one big party. It was impossible not to smile and move with the music; the energy was contagious and full of joy.

Of course, the highlight of the night came at the end, when they closed with their most iconic song: “I Swear.” As soon as the opening chords began, the audience erupted in cheers. This Grammy Award-winning ballad, a defining hit of the '90s, still carries the same emotional weight and beauty today. By the final chorus, nearly everyone was singing along—it was a truly moving moment.
All-4-One gave us more than just a concert. They shared a journey through time, reminding us of the power of harmony, love, and enduring friendship.

A heartfelt thank you to the Arcadia Performing Arts Foundation for organizing such a wonderful event and bringing this legendary group to our community. It was an evening filled with great music, warm memories, and genuine joy—one that I will treasure for a long time.

All-4-One at Arcadia Performing Arts Center

On September 20, the Arcadia Performing Arts Center was filled to capacity as the quartet All-4-One lit up the stage with their timeless hits, bringing fresh energy to the Gala fundraising evening dedicated to the arts and education. This dinner and concert not only drew music lovers from across the community but also strengthened collective support and commitment to music education.

As familiar melodies filled the air, waves of applause and sing-alongs echoed throughout the hall. Since their debut in 1993, All-4-One has accompanied countless fans through the years with their heartfelt harmonies. The evening’s performance was both rich and diverse, featuring tender love ballads as well as rhythmic numbers that had the entire audience on their feet. Their setlist included “I Swear,” “I Can Love You Like That,” “So Much In Love,” “I Turn to You,” “These Arms,” and “Beautiful As You,” immersing the audience in the beauty of classic songs.

Yet, what truly touched the heart went beyond the music itself. Lead vocalist Jamie Jones, together with group members Delious Kennedy, Alfred Nevarez, and Tony Borowiak, sincerely shared their gratitude for the teachers and mentors who inspired them throughout their journey, reminding everyone present never to forget their beginnings. They emphasized that music and the arts must be nurtured from a young age, and that a supportive environment and guiding teachers are essential. This heartfelt reflection resonated deeply with many in attendance.

As a member of the audience and also a volunteer with the Performing Arts Foundation, I was especially moved by this moment. Over the past decade, I have witnessed the establishment of the Center and its being made freely available to the school district. Here, children have found confidence through music, and countless teachers have quietly dedicated their time and passion, delivering every lesson with both professionalism and care. The Center serves not only as a showcase but also as a vital platform for cultural exchange, enriching the human spirit through diversity. As All-4-One’s voices reverberated and the audience sang in unison, I could truly hear the power of the arts—it shapes not only performers but also generation after generation of young people. It is a cause worth preserving and advancing.

As the concert drew to a close, the audience was reluctant to part. This was more than just a concert—it felt like a profound exchange of life and a cleansing of the soul. Some longtime fans even brought the group’s very first album for autographs. Music, friendship, gratitude for teachers, and the spirit of education all intertwined to create an unforgettable symphony of emotions.

The Arcadia Performing Arts Foundation’s Gala fundraising night concluded successfully, thanks to the dedicated efforts of all volunteers, staff, donors, the school district, and student groups. Proceeds from the dinner and concert will be devoted entirely to the Performing Arts Center for facility repairs, equipment upgrades, and student scholarships, ensuring that students and various arts programs have access to an improved stage and environment.

For many years, the mission of the Arcadia Performing Arts Foundation has been to preserve the Center and provide ongoing upgrades, so that students and arts outreach programs can continue to thrive in an enhanced setting. The Foundation, currently led by Chairman and former music director Michael Danielson and Chief Executive Officer Christine Lee, has long championed the growth of arts education and community culture with selfless dedication. The Foundation warmly welcomes and supports collaboration in advancing the arts.

The next performance at the Center will take place on December 14: A Night of Christmas with The Lettermen. Music lovers are invited to stay connected through: arcadiapaf.org.

他們演唱了《I Swear》《I Can Love You Like That》《So Much In Love》《I Turn to You》《These Arms》以及《Beautiful As You》等代表作,帶領觀眾沉浸在經典旋律裡。

藝術中心的下一場演出將於 12 月 14 日舉行:《A Night of Christmas with The Lettermen》。歌迷們可透過官網 arcadiapaf.org 獲取更多資訊。

The Lettermen Charm Arcadia with Timeless Harmonies

On April 5, 2025, The Lettermen lit up the Arcadia Performing Arts Center with a concert that exceeded all expectations.

Known for their smooth three-part harmonies, Donovan Tea, Bobby Poynton, and Rob Gulack delivered a feel-good show that was enjoyed by all.

From their 1961 hit “The Way You Look Tonight” to classic covers, their sound was as strong as ever.

“Don’t judge a book by its cover,” one guest said. “I wasn’t sure what to expect, but The Lettermen put on a fantastic show. I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed it.”

The Arcadia Performing Arts Foundation remains dedicated to bringing great entertainment to the community.

“My girlfriends and I love being able to enjoy a great night out right here in town,” said one attendee. “No LA traffic, no parking hassles—these shows are right in our own backyard. It’s so easy and enjoyable!”

The night had even more meaning for local fans—Donovan Tea is a Pasadena High School alum, and several of his former choir classmates were in the audience to support him. The show also drew fellow musicians, as well as members of The Lettermen’s devoted Filipino fan base, who were treated to a special song sung in Tagalog.

And judging by the crowd’s reaction, The Lettermen are welcome back anytime.

Cyndi Chao’s Romantic Concert Warms Hearts at the Arcadia Performing Arts Center

On January 25, 2025, the Arcadia Performing Arts Foundation presented a magical evening with Taiwanese pop icon Cyndi Chao in “The Most Romantic Concert”—a moving musical celebration that touched hearts and brought the community together through the power of music and love.

Performing a heartfelt lineup of her beloved hits, including The Proposal, Flying Higher, Too Late to Meet, and The Most Romantic Thing, Cyndi captivated the audience with her emotive voice and sincere stage presence. Her performance was elevated by a special collaboration with the Hollywood Band, who opened the show with Hotel California and played English favorites like Perfect, I Will Always Love You, and My Heart Will Go On, blending East and West in a beautiful cultural harmony.

A highlight of the evening was the emotional moment when Cyndi performed Too Late to Meet, visibly moved by the song’s personal meaning. She later shared that music—and her fans—helped her through some of life’s darkest times. Her honesty and vulnerability created a powerful connection with the audience.

Adding to the night's charm was a touching duet with the Arcadia High School Choir on What a Wonderful World, followed by a unifying sing-along of Tomorrow Will Be Better, during which Cyndi stepped off stage to invite the audience to join her in song. The finale became a beautiful tribute of hope and healing, with proceeds from a mid-show charity auction supporting Arcadia Unified teachers and staff affected by recent wildfires.

Fans who traveled from across Southern California and abroad were especially moved by the intimate atmosphere. Many sang along throughout the show, with one audience member describing it as a “dream come true” to sing alongside their idol.

As the first Arcadia concert featuring an Asian pop star, the event drew a diverse and enthusiastic crowd, creating a milestone moment for the Foundation and setting the stage for future multicultural performances.

For longtime community members, the night also evoked warm memories of past milestones at the Arcadia Performing Arts Center. One parent recalled the grand opening in 2013, when legendary crooner Paul Anka performed with a full live band and even selected outstanding Arcadia High Symphony Orchestra students to join him on stage. “My son was one of the cellists that evening—it was an exciting and unforgettable night for him and for us in the audience,” they shared.

Thank you to Cyndi Chao, the Hollywood Band, Max Tu, the Arcadia High Choir, and all who made the night so special. And to the audience—your love and energy made it truly unforgettable.
